Our Story

WA Strata Professionals was founded by Mark McCasker, a former director of one of WA’s largest strata management companies.

With extensive experience in managing strata-titled buildings, ranging from 6 to over 250 lots, we are fully conversant with the needs of individual strata schemes, whether it be a ‘simple’ single storey building, or a more complex high-rise structure encompassing pools, lifts, PV solar cells, centralised hot water systems, fire & evacuation systems, shared amenities, etc.

At WA Strata Professionals, we understand the need for experienced strata management services and timely & efficient communications…..something that is often lacking in the industry!

Our mantra of where excellence is our business says it all….we pride ourselves in delivering excellent levels of service in all aspects of our interactions with clients.

Mark

Founding Director & Strata Manager

Mark has previously managed a large team of strata professionals, with over 160 buildings under management, comprising over 4,500 lots. In this role Mark was actively involved in providing strata advisory services to developers on the practical design, operating budgets, by-laws and proposed management of large strata buildings.

Aside from over 18 years of strata management experience, Mark’s career has included Facilities Management, residential & commercial Property Management, and a number of senior administrative roles at WA mine sites.

Coupled with Mark’s considerable experience gained in previous senior management roles with Facilities Management companies, he has a sound understanding of the operating requirements of modern buildings.

Additionally, Mark has attained certification as a Fellow Strata Community Manager with the peak strata industry body, Strata Community Association (WA).

Mark is well known in the strata industry and is passionate about education, compliance and registration/licensing of Strata Managers.

Jack

Assistant Strata Manager

University qualified, Jack has a strong focus on systems, procedures and ensuring client queries are dealt with in an extremely proficient and friendly manner.

Jack spent his first year of learning the basics of most aspects of strata management before moving to his current role where he has blossomed, utilising his educational qualifications and previous work experiences to provide clients with a high level of professional and knowledgeable service.

Jack’s focus on client relations, a ‘can do’ attitude, and a friendly, helpful style has seen him receive lots of compliments from the many people he interacts with.

Kylie

Kylie has a long-standing career in strata management and financial accounting.

Kylie is also well known in the strata industry and is passionate about staff training, accurate financial records and maintaining the company’s procedures manual.

With over 16 years in an assortment of strata management & accounting roles, Kylie has managed & trained many teams.

Amy

Administration Assistant

Amy is a dedicated and detail-oriented administrative professional with over three years of experience across multiple corporate sectors. Originally from the UK and now based in Western Australia, she holds an education containing a BA Degree. She has consistently demonstrated a strong work ethic, adaptability, and a commitment to high standards in every role she has undertaken.

Known for her initiative, reliability, and approachable demeanour, Amy is passionate about contributing to well-run communities through efficient, transparent, and proactive administrative support. Her strong work ethic, professionalism, and customer service skills make her a valuable asset to WA Strata Professionals.

Why Us

Strata Management is all that we do…. and we do it with passion & integrity. We are not distracted by other property related functions such as property management, sales, etc.

Our internal KPI’s ensure we answer all calls, or if our phones are busy, then we return any voice mail messages immediately. Likewise, emails are usually answered within a few hours, or if further investigation is required, the client is acknowledged and given an estimated time for resolution.

A number of clients have been with us we started the business, and their continuing loyalty reflects their satisfaction. With extremely low staff turnover and ‘lost client’ ratios, you can be assured of continuing high levels of service and consistency in who you are dealing with.

Unlike some strata management companies that have standalone roles where functions & tasks are not known or understood by other staff members (e.g. separate staff dealing with maintenance, another for insurance, another for accounts, etc) we pride ourselves on all staff being involved and across the daily occurrences within the schemes we manage. Similarly, the staff training includes multiple tasks such as maintenance, insurance claims, accounts payable & receivable, etc.

We provide an emergency, after-hours service in order to assist our clients around the clock when the situation demands so.

In summary, our close-knit and knowledgeable team provide a holistic, boutique level of service not often found in strata management companies.
